There are several things to do here: biking/hiking trails, the fort itself, the beach, and several nature walks. Many of the pictures are from the nature walk.
The nature walks are short, and can probably be done in an hour. You go to several "willow ponds" (described at the start of the trail), and see lots of different kinds of plants and trees. I even saw a baby alligator on this hike! Actually, alligators are fairly common in this area, and you can't bring dogs with you for that very reason.
You can also hike on the bike trails. They run parallel to the main entrance road for a few miles. I tried running for a stretch on these, but there were so many tree roots, and so many ups-and-downs, that the run wasn't enjoyable. The scenery is more interesting on the nature walks, anyway.
